History of Glimmerstone

The Caseys

In 1953 a new mill called Kenwood was opened and the manager, Gerry Casey family moved into Glimmerstone. The Casey family resided until 1959, when the Kenwood mill closed for good. One of the sons, Bill Casey, lives nearby in Brownsville and has visited us numerous times.
