Cavendish Inn
is located on Scenic Highway 131, one of only three scenic highways
in Vermont. It is located on the Black River, one of the most
popular spots for trout fishing in the area.
It is located
minutes from many amenities that can enhance any trip. Although
the area is known mostly for skiing, there are many activities
to be found in the area: snowshoeing, sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country
skiing, snowboarding, sleigh rides. And that is only in the winter!
In the summer, there is horseback riding, hiking the Appalachian
Trail or other trails in the area, swimming, tennis, golf, bicycling,
farmer's markets, summer theater, outdoor concerts, craft fairs,
antique shops, and much much more.
